And that's it: the whole story, via contactmusic.com. While some of us have never forgiven the former Mrs. John Lennon for breaking-up the Beatles, this stunning example of political incorrectness is bound to awaken an entirely new generation of Ono detractors. You know, provided she said it. 'Cause we can't find the origin of this remark, which the aforementioned Beatles fans are sure to spread throughout cyberspace (with our help). Anyway, THIS is the time for Lexus PR to step up to the plate and promote their forthcoming 600h L. Something tells me Ms. Ono wouldn't mind accepting a free loaner in exchange for promoting the world's most expensive– and luxurious– hybrid. Of course, she'd need to keep making stupid statements to get enough publicity to make it worth their while, and God knows WHAT she might say. I dunno, something like, curry powder prevents Alzheimer's. Wait, done.

Is she still alive? Bloody ‘ell, why couldn’t Mark Chapman’s aim have been a little off?
Lexus aready has Elvis Costello and Diana Krall shilling for them (I’m waiting for the ad where they’re fitting their baby seats). Signing Yoko would undo all that coolness.
Yoko, being the no-talent parasitic rip-off artist she has been her entire life, should be shilling lame-o copies of the Lexus, hmm…maybe Buicks?
Yeah! A Buick that GM calls a hybrid merely because they installed a slightly larger wiper motor. Poor Tiger.
And I would buy a hybrid if it were as fun to drive as a Miata.
Would that make people hate me, if I actually said it? I don’t see anything wrong with her statement.
“While some of us have never forgiven the former Mrs. John Lennon for breaking-up the Beatles”
That would be me.
I don’t think the Beatles breakup can be entirely laid at the feet of Yoko Ono. The lads were heading in radically different directions, and their egos were outgrowing their camaraderie. Patti Boyd just revealed in a tell-all that George Harrison was fooling around with several women, one of whom was Ringo’s wife, Maureen. I’ll bet Ringo didn’t think that was Fab.
I don’t like the Beatles. Think they’re overrated. So, Yoko’s past has no real issue to me.
While I may not live at her level, I can’t argue with her statement.

You had to be there.
Anyway, Yoko didn’t break up the Beatles, she just became the convenient excuse. Regardless, she was just an asterisk prior to December 8, 1980, and irrelevant since.
