lamborghini_new_el_s_ttac_01_01_01.jpgI don’t think much of the Lamborghini Gallardo. The design is precise and well polished, but lacks passion. When I think Lamborghini, I imagine something outrageous, with indecent technology that has nothing to do with common sense. The Gallardo seems to be all about common sense. OK, I'll say it: it's a bit boring. Now that Lambo's paymasters sell the sober supercar known as the Audi R8 (not to mention the Porsche Turbo), Lamborghini should be free to kick out the jams. In the interests of cost containment, I imagined a successor of the Gallardo that's a reskinned Italian R8. It should be indecent in appearance, but too intriguing to make you look away. Outlandish and totally original, but with close connections to its ancestors. With “Lambo doors” (it is after all one of the few cars where they are justified), rear wheel drive (could keep AWD as an option) and a hazard warning paintwork, the new baby bull could inspire a whole new generation of teenage wall posters. Hey, it beats working for a living…

Not sure about the black around the headlights, but the rest of that is FANTASTIC. The curve in the window and the coloured wheels are sick!

    Nice chop

The true test of Lambo’s styling is how many teenagers will put posters of it up.

Although the last few Lambos have been striking, they haven’t had the “poster worthy” styling of the Diablo or the Countach.

Hopefully the next versions will change that.

The back part is pretty amateur, apart from headlights I can`t find a single serious design element. The part near projected b-c pillar looks as if crashed by a truck. Black sideview mirrors ( not painted)usually are used for cheaper model versions ( American manufacturers haven`t even learnt that! (See Mustang)). The rigidity and design structure of the wheels is unclear. the sunroof doesn`t have a single aligned line, whether to rounded windshield or roof sides. front carbon lip is much higher than the sideskirt that also is black and thus highlighted ,yet having no height match to front lip height at any place.Sorry , very average.

Nice, but you got the electrical tape wrong it should be an X. They should make everyone happy and bring back the Countach =D

I too lament the old countachs and diablos but this is no good…reskinned R8 are you mad? That would damage the brand more than low budget caddy.
