Moller has an “interesting” history…and it’s the not the first time they’ve tried to raise capital by selling things (or the opportunity to own vehicles if they ever start production) on eBay.
If I had wicked amounts of money, I’d invest a percentage of it in oddball stuff like this. I think incredibly wealthy people should spend less on multiple houses and a little more on flying hovercraft development.
This thing didn’t meet their reserve. It got to 20,000 dollars and that was it. Considering that it hasn’t flown for about 17 years, it’s a good thing somebody didn’t tryt o buy and fly it. I worked for this guy for a long time, and it’s basicly a techno-scam. The tech is real, ans some of the vehicles flew well, but this guy’s always lookin for the shortcut. He says he’s going to build and sell 40 of these saucer vehicles in 2009. He said that in 1974 too. See downside.com for a 1974 brochure. Or just Google “Moller Scam”, and you’ll see lots of interesting history.
Peace
Does the price include those funky uniforms?

Apparently they couldn’t be bothered enough to take some decent photos of it.
Does the price include the crane to lift it off the ground for those photo opportunities?
People can barely drive ground cars safely, and you want to give them flying cars?
