I still think my Airplane reference was okey-dokey. I’ll just edit out the Youtube link that’s a four part compilation of the funniest scenes ever recorded in the history of cinema.
Yep, you’ll never hear about ‘Airplane – Funny Snippets’ from yours truly ever again. You know it’s just not my style to point out funny material that is only peripheral to the topic discussed. Nope. That ain’t me.
Now I want to say this once and for all for the benefit of everyone here. As a literary equivalent to a modern day politician, I promise to never divert another thread for my own agenda. Really. At least not right now. A few seconds ago, yes, perhaps. But not at this very moment.
That is great — I was grinning for the entire video!
I wanted to see more so I searched on YouTube. Here is a three-part series showing the “Hovercraft for passengers between Ohita AP and port of Ohita city.” Between these three and the original post, you can see the entire drifting course.
I guess Ohita is one place where the trip to the airport is more fun than the plane ride.
I was so offended by watching the snippets from “Airplane!” I immediately added it to my Netflix queue. We’re letting you off with a warning, Lang. And remember, there’s no stopping in the red zone.
That was wonderful to watch. Like an elephant dancing to Swan Lake.
Odd Chuck Trivia: I used to be an on-ice official, and the most bizarre game I ever refereed was a professional game at Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Bizarre game, bizarre crowd, bizarre players, bizarre circumstances… just… bizarre. Buy me a beer sometime and I’ll tell the tale.
That’s one way of getting to Fresno!
Fresno? Fresno??? Nobody goes to Fresno anymore!
wish it was painted metallic lime green.
What’s the problem? I always drive like this.

I’d assume that’s the only way to turn it easily.

I wonder if that Hovercraft is going sideways because it is full of eels.
Conslaw, my nipples explode with delight!
After a hard day’s work, then having to pony up $$ for new tires, this made my day! Thank you, TTAC!
