When it came one, the first thing I thought about was TTAC. When they started talking about how their vehicles broke down I thought I was dreaming. SNL really tore them down. Nardelli describing everything failing on the 300 was hilarious. Well, the whole thing was great. I’m just surprised they did it and went as far as they did.
I’m just surprised they did it and went as far as they did.
I didn’t get to see this, but judging by what I’m hearing, NBC will never let this episode see the light of day ever again, because it’s really too edgy and realistic and therefore might anger the public. Probably the Big Three got a bug up their asses and won’t let anybody post video of the skit because freedom of speech rules don’t come into play whenever money’s involved.
If the Big Three actually let them post it up so I can see it and laugh along, I’ll be really surprised. These corporations have the power and use it as much as they can.
Wow. All right, I just got to see the video. Yeah, that was pretty harsh. Phew.
Well, at least the Big Three aren’t bitching yet. Regardless of SNL’s take, I’ll still be considering a Chevy Colorado. My family’s never gotten a lemon from a D3 company, except for a Cherokee that was used as a tester in off road courses.
So Chevy, as soon as you declare Chapter 11 or get your ass together, I’ll buy one of your cars. Seriously. I just want to know what’s going to happen to you in the near future.
And again, thanks for not bitching at the satire. It was funny. I didn’t take it seriously.
Here’s a ripped stream of the SNL skit… get it while it lasts.

Thanks, jgholt. For some reason this particular video is not being posted on SNL’s website. And NBC does not like it when others post videos of their programs. They’re quick to sick their legal dept. on those who do.
Good humor always has e large percentace of truth in it and this is good humor.
I did laugh at the skit but I feel it was untrue and possibly quite harmful to the D3. All quality polls/statistics show GM & Ford in a very positive light.
Many people really believe what the entertainment industry tells them (ie: SNL, Jon Stewart, etc). So when they are told a brand is crap they believe it. I personally do not think the D3, with a few exceptions that are fairly well known and avoidable, makes junk.
This type of joke unfortunately does more damage to the domestics than high gas prices or tight credit sources. Who really wants to buy a vehicle that is a joke whether the joke is true or not?
