Can you believe it? And to think they were trying to become the first firm to offer a production diesel-hybrid. In 2010. Sound familiar?

Note how they used creative camera angles so that nobody would notice how ugly the car really is. Until then walked into showrooms.
The first domino went down.
I thought it would be Chrapster.
Reminds me of a certain web site that said they would be bankrupt back in July-ish or so.
A good ad wasted on a fugly car. I like effects in the ad with the explosives or air-cannons creating waves as the car drives by.
One of the ugliest cars ever made. Good riddance Ssangyong, purveyors of nastiness
Rodius?
No! Odious!
Uggh! A hideous car with a grumbly diesel? Who the hell would want to live with THAT everyday?
Oh, by the way, everyone reading this should google “ssangyong”, almost all of their vehicles are criminally ugly! And read the translations on the page, such as “To elevate the dignity of VIP, it is designed according to the palmate pattern that symbolizes the wealth and prosperity”
“Unique but chic designed never has been found”
Errrr ummm… ssuuure….
…yeah.
OTOH it’s a van, people and for that it’s not much uglier than a Caravan or other vans.
Might sounds crazy but in fact I’d take it over them if I weren’t an avid van-hater – this fugly Rodio seats up to 8-9 and sports some neat tricks for large Korean families (pretty common when few generations live together): http://www.smotor.com/en/showroom/rodius/convenience.jsp
That thing reminds me of the Aztek from the side. Why would anyone want to even come close to duplicating that monstrosity?
