This isn’t a bad-looking car at all. Since Saturn is done (and Opel may be), I say a little bit of reskinning could make it the Chevy Malibu wagon. They are building Epsilon IIs in the US, correct?
Yeah, the wheels are nutty, but that’s what tuners do.
Steinmetz was one of the now long-forgotten geniuses of early American electrification and a leading light of GE’s early existence. He designed, built and marketed electric cars and trucks (including an all aluminum model) around 1910-1925. And he designed the generators that have been running continuously for 112 years turning about 2MW at the Mechanicsburg Hydro Station. You can see a YouTube video here. When American engineers were the titans of the world.
That’s actually pretty nice looking. I like the clean lines, front and the hatch. So if this is an Opel it means we wont be getting it here since Saturn(Opel-USA) will be history in the near future if Opel itself isn’t history also. Another Euro-car we don’t get in the states.
@DrivnEZ :
It has a CDTI badge on the right rear. The Opel variant diesel is not as reliable as the Bora TDI.
But what do we expect from Opel?
There is not enough reliability data on the relatively new Fiat 2.0 diesel engines used in the Insignia.
Bora TDI…? The last one of those has been made four years ago, different class of vehicle, a decade older design. What kind of point are you trying to make here?
Those wheels are about 4″ too big for that car?
is German rice = Kraut?
Opel Insignia:

I can’t tell if it is a Pontiac or a Saturn or a Buick.
Apart from the stickers and choice of wheels, not bad. Since it’s an Opel, it’ll have a manual shift and some interesting engine choices.
Will this become the next Aura?
Buy it. It will be a one of a kind collector’s item.

I’ll admit it – at first glance, I thought that it was an A4 Avant with a modified front end. That’s a good thing. Almost makes you hopeful.

Nichts. Sieht ganz gut aus.
Nothing. They left the space on the front blank for the FIAT logo.
Suzuki Kizashi!
Nice, uncluttered style.

Sorry, but that car is a total rip-off of a Volvo C30, but with four doors.
Looks like a Toyota Venza.

That it won’t be sold here.
