Little Tikes management is corrupt. I say start a new Death Watch series.
looks like it has better fit and finishing than your average sebring
Better resale value too.
Check out that self-satisfied, “I’m greener than you” expression. Man, and I thought Prius drivers were smug.
High impact plastic unibody.Hey that will solve Toyota truck frame rotting issues.
this is where the Indians copied the Tata Nano from
are there any rebates, incentives, or 0% financing available?
Standard side curtain whoopie cushion air bags and anti-lock feet at that price? Look out Kia!
I’m guessing that the Little Tike has 0% North American content.
Must..pay..extra.. for keyless ignition.
During the 30 years, when did manufacture get shifted to China?
And they say the coupe is dead.
Let GM build it. Couldn’t screw that up too, could they?
Never mind, I think I know the answer.
That car will never compete with this coup!

Yubba dubba dooo!
Coupe DeVille, Lexus SC, Legend Coupe, Continental Mark Series, Riviera, Monte Carlo, Thunderbird, Cougar, Solara, Celica, etc…
How did these models die with so many kids growing up on coupes?
I was a Big Wheel kid. Coupes are still cages in my book.
This car can virtually run on no gas (infinite MPG), and it doesn’t corrupt the environment at all.
THE CHEVY VOLT IS DOA. And so are other hybrids.
Quick! Pass new laws! With today’s more active, fatter babies, we need more airbags, more rollover roof weight strength, and more warning stickers.
And by god, can someone PLEASE pass some new emission standards? Billy really emits far too many greenhouse gases after just a few jars of creamed beans.
The hard plastic interior leaves much to be desired.
Still, I’d rather have this than an Aveo or a Sebring.

America’s best selling car – made in China.
Introducing the 2011 Saturn “Pedalpower” brought to you by Roger Panske……
I had one of those when I was little…best car I ever owned.
I didn’t have these, but the only “big time” gift I got was a Power Wheels Corvette. Unfortunately the battery stopped holding a good charge after only maybe 10 times (surprise, have to buy a new battery… needless to say, my dad never bought a new one), and didn’t go more than walking pace. Still, it was really fun.
Oh and if you ended up in the grass it would struggle and die.
Those were power wheels “back in my day.”
Ah yes, seeing one of these brings back memories from when I was about four or five years old. I actually managed to wear through the tires of the one I had.
I had one of these when I was young. Turned out to be much more reliable than my Escort.
Any word on whether you can separate the fleet sales from the retail sales? I think they have been dumping these on Hertz and Toys R US….
Rivals Ford’s Panther platform in years on the market. Probably just as advanced, too.

Actually Little Tikes says it’s made in the U.S., though many components may be from China.
Since shipping containers are paid for by the cubic foot, inexpensive things that take up a lot of volume are sometimes too expensive to import.
As the child of a former employee and on-site daycare attender, I’ve seen the production of these things first hand. The “big” pieces that are blow molded plastic (the main red and yellow parts) are all made in hudson. Some of the hardware and smaller pieces are imported.
Also, the Cozy Coupe just entered the Petersen Automotive Museum yesterday!

useless additional triva: the gentleman who started Little Tikes also started Step 2 (which is headquartered in the next town over). He waited out his non-compete after selling Little Tikes to Rubbermaid and then went to town. The bulk of their products are also mostly made in the US
Great toy! brings back memories, my daughter had one that was second hand. We gave it to another family (In some circles, that makes us communists) after my little one out-grew it.
It is very close to the Smart for two. I think Little Tykes might have a case of patent infringements.
Shouldn’t he have a little toy cell phone in his hand?
I’m looking at getting one for my son – used of course, by a little toddler who only drove it on Sundays.
looks like it has better fit and finishing than your average sebring
Ha! That’s a classic. Tony, you rock!
I’ll take mine with the upgraded “Fred Flintstone” performance brakes.
Looks like a Chevy HHR. I thought they had copied the PT Cruiser, but I was wrong.
Uh oh. That little boy breathes, and thus releases CO2 into the atmosphere. When will those evil Americans ever learn!

Good question – apparently never for some.
Are you ever going to learn that respiration doesn’t contribute to global warming?

I still remember mine. I pushed it down a flight of stairs and it survived. Built like a champ!
I once refused to capitulate to the profiteering toy store monetary demands, so me and my comrades made the People’s Coupe out of corrugated cardboard and wood sticks.
It took a shitload of labor and didn’t quite work so well; thus I am forced to salute this work of capitalist ingenuity and achievement.
If we run out of petrol, there will be no more plastics to make Little Tykes products such as this…
Think of the Children!
I want one for my baby :)
I just got one of these for my son and he loves it like nothing else. And if I remember correctly, it’s still made in the USA.
Can ya get it with a Hemi?
My daughter absolutely loves hers. It gets great gas mileage and the tires have lasted a long time. She peeled all the stickers off, sort of like the de-badge look you see on tuner cars.
Assembling it was a real challenge with a Xmas eve hang over at 8 in the morning. Glad there was no engine to install.
Got one at a garage sale for 5 bucks. Both my kids beat the crap out of it. The coupe was tired and had faded to pink so I applied a “custom” krylon fusion paint job and sold it for 10 bucks at a garage sale. Also the little lace looking wheel covers were gone. Anyway, hows that for resale…eat your heart out accord drivers.
In the parking lot of one of the businesses near my work someone rolled one of these Cozy Coupes out and parked it behind a smart fourtwo. Seeing the two back to back was rather amusing.
Is the plastic soft-touching?
