Reminds me of when I was visiting San Jose in 1994. I saw on teh news that they stopped reporting the number of suicides jumping off the Golden Gate bridge, as it was nearing 1000. It seems that when the number hit 499, a local news anchorman jumped off it, using his inside information to become number 500. Saw it on the TV news. Un-freakin-believable. Talk about 15 minutes of fame…
