Oh, a kit car based on the Aveo (or a Boxster). OK.
I initially thought it was the next generation Prius.
Sometimes, a discreet “WTF?” does not do the situation justice. This is one of those times.

That is a mouse for a mainframe computer.
I remember the shell for this being sold on eBay last year. I guess someone was dumb enough to put a drivetrain into it.
I just poured salt on one of these in my backyard. Problem solved.
No appreciation for fine art.
Apparently, to check the engine oil or replace the air filter you may have to lift the car’s shell from the chassis.

Also, what did they do to the rear seats? Are there rear seats in an Aveo?
This thing looks like one of those hokey spaceships from the Flash Gordon movies of the 1930’s. Keep a lookout for Ming the Merciless!
The shell came from a movie prop car. The movie called “Fastlane” was never released. We can only assume what the rest of the movie looked like.
The non-running shell was towed onto the auction block at the fall Kruse auction in Auburn, IN last year and got no takers. Apparently somebody got a hold of it, and it only got worse from there.
Be the first on your block. Or, at $86k for a really strange-looking, rebodied Aveo, the first (and only) in your time zone…
