Makes me wish I was at Pebble Beach.
Are we supposed to I.D. these?
1. 356
2. ? Alfa Spyder
3. Cobra
4. Mid 60s Ferrari
5. Aston – Vantage, DB9, or DB9. Hard to say.
6. mid 70s 930
7. 365 GTB/Daytona
Better than I could do, Dimwit, but I think #7 might be an early 911/912 driver’s side front bumper and fender.
OTOH, I’ve never been any good at birdwatching either.
pretty much agree with Dimwit, ‘cept for 2 and 6. My guess is 2 is a 63 Corvette, and 6 is a 60s Porsche
That’s a Vantage. (I hope.) It has a more pronounced rear lip than its siblings.
1. Porsche 356
3. Shelby Cobra
4. Lamborghini Countach
5. Aston Martin V8
6 and 7. Porsche 911
Upon further reflection, I’ll concede 7. 6 is certainly 911 based but those fender flares are way too large for a regular 911. That’s why I said a 930 but without the whaletail. I think the first versions were like that before they upped the boost and stuck the intercooler on the outside of the car.
2 was a stab in the dark but I don’t think that 4 is a Countach. Not with T/A’s like that. They’d be a more low profile tire and much more deep dished. Another Lambo maybe? Something short and not too radical. How about a Maser instead? I just can’t tell.
Number 4 is another shot of a Shelby Cobra, the left front fender looking from the side forward. So what you’re seeing are the louvers behind the front wheel ahead of the door. I vote DB9 for number 5. The rest you’ve nailed.
Hint: only five cars are represented in these photos.
