Gaudy and ugly. Overpriced for what it really is, yet cheap compared to other premium products. Yep, it’s a Caddy.
I just clicked the link and the watch that came up is now $89.99…
Must be a rebate that kicked in 15-20 minutes ago due to the increased traffic volume generated by TTAC.
Just a couple more rebates and watch dealer incentives and I’ll be at that dreamy $1 / month payment.
The wife absolutely won’t let me go to $1.25 a month. Cuts into her food budget too much.

Those are some ugly-assed watches. The sad thing is that you can actually get a decent looking watch for $90-100.
Cadillac watches. Take a Timex watch, swap out the hands for ones that look higher quality (NOT higher quality – just ones that LOOK better). Jack the price up 2 or 3 times as much as the Timex – Bingo!! The Cadillac watch!

$89.99 is getting closer. But I’ve had this old Timex for 10 years and it’s always worked.
Not sure I’m ready for them to pour liquid glass into the back and crush it..

looks cheap as hell like those made in china knock offs with BMW and Merc logos on them
Id just like to know a few things..
1. If ya pop the top plate of the watch off… is there a Chevy badge underneath.
2. Does the gold(plate) scratch off?
3. Does it match the tacky exterior plating of my Escalade that “I bought for 40% off”.
4. Is Chevy, Saturn, GMC and Buick coming out with THEIR own watches… eerily similar to the Caddy watch?
5. Is it going to be worth anything after 4yrs?
6. And how does this stack up against the Lexus / MB / BMW / Audi watches?

In typical GM fashion, it’s “officially licensed” watches are a(barely)half-arsed effort. These aren’t even anything close to even a Timex in terms of quality.
Accords: I don’t know about Lexus, Audi and BMW watches, but the official AMG Mercedes watches are made by IWC (Ingenieur Automatic AMG and the Ingenieur Chronograph AMG). Retail prices range from $5600 to $7100. And yes that is US dollars.
The Hyundai Watch totally kicks their ass.
Let me guess..
With the Hyundai watch..
1. Its cheaper than the japanese…
2. Comes with a longer warranty (provided ya do as they say when ya have to change parts)
3. Gives ya free gas for a year
4. Will take ya car back after 4 months of payments if ya lose ya job
5. Has a boat load of features that no on can touch
6. Has a black more plastic version from Kia thats sporty.
7. Also has a really fast and customizable new version of the watch that goes up against the sportiest from Nissan / Infiniti / Lexus.
8. Has essentially no taste, no design prowess, no individual looks, or sporty character of its own. Is bought for its cost alone and really has no reason to exist, except for its cut rate el cheapo price.
And of course the Lexus watch is more expensive but a much more reliable watch that’s not only better quality but better looking and (being self-winding) requires less maintenance.

Follow the link. It’s for real. Although you might have point about the lack of taste, I’d disagree about the lack of design prowess. Not many watches contain tri-band GSM/GPRS cell phones and touch screens. It’ll be cheaper than the others because you can get it on a cell phone contract.
