I don’t mean to single out Audi here, but they sent us some stats about their stand at the Frankfurt Auto Show. [Press release after the jump.] Fifteen climate control units. One thousand four hundred spotlights. Six thousand square meters of space. I mean, even if you put aside the environmental impact of powering this much stuff, not to mention transporting, feeding and housing 150 people, how much does it all cost? Is it really worth it? Can’t Audi just use the internet and give us a discount on a nice, pre-owned S4?

Dont care about the green creds. Audi sure has a great flag bearer though.
One question comes to mind – how real / natural are her assets?
Environmentaly friendly car displays are for idiots.
I’m sold based on the “ad” above.
From the description of the event it sounds like Audi is partying like it’s 1999.
Love the new Audi six-ring logo.
Twotone
I’m sorry what did the article say? I guess I was mesmerized by the outstanding pair of eh…I mean the cool Audi logo. I was just thinking about some mountains that I have to climb.
@Twotone-I enjoy your creative thinking!
^^
ROFL at the 6 ring logo comment.
I too like the new Audi 6-ring logo! And, like all Audis, she’s front heavy.
Since half the folks in America still dont have internet but significantly more have a tv.. i see why they would continue their course. Despite what some others think auto shows are still very relevant. Besides most of the sites I visit dont even have car advertisements on them..And I like Audis
Nette Zahnstange!
@jaje
They look real to me.
The end matters, not the means.

And you wonder why the media invited to these events (you know, the ones that get to spend time in the “lounges” being plied with alcohol and women) become syncophants? Once you’re on that gravy train, who the hell wants to get off?
These booths aren’t about selling your cars to the public taking a walk through of the show. It’s all about getting the journos fully ensconsed in your pocket.
Is it just me, or is the lady in the photo kinda attractive?
just wait till the headlamps turn on!
I bet these are HID.
Deutscheland Boober Alles?
I don’t know about Deutschland uber alles but she has some solid points in her favor.
@ talkstoanimals
Great(?) minds think alike…
Will the girl come with the A3 TDI? If so, I’m getting in line today at my Audi dealer.
Just like an Audi, she’s fun to drive but high maintenance.
I dunno about the maintenance Twotone. Certainly, at least a couple of those parts are rust-proof.
Nice TT
They’re real and they’re spectacular.
@RF, she’s old enough to be your daughter. Why not EO eye candy for the women in the crowd? It isn’t the seventies any more.
This reminds me of when I hired into GM… some things have changed here
Ok this is bad. This is probably the 20th time I’ve returned to this post today. It’s official, I’m a perv and I’m spending way too much time away from home and my wife of 25 years.
Glad to see Audi is retaining its prominence in headlamps.
What flag? I don’t see a flag. Must be hot there, according to the biological thermometers it’s well about 70 degrees where she is standing.
The costs are exorbitant, but attendees can skip Viagra for a month. (Right-clickers perhaps even longer.)
Nice glow plugs.
They forgot to list in the materials list the 25lbs of silacone used on their new models.
That stuff doesn’t count. The only energy that matters when it comes to making a car is the energy used directly to manufacture a car and its components. Right?

My goodness, she really is fantastic. Just absolutely, thoroughly, magnificently lovely.
Nice job photoshopping out the I love football too, by the way, & inserting the audi logo. Worth the time!
