Let’s just say she didn’t roll out of the factory this way… What was this before someone decided to sin against nature?

Ford Scorpio.
For the record, the donor car is not much better looking.
Ford Scorpio, or a B3 Audi 80.
edit: also known as a Granada or Granada Scorpio in some markets.
I’m with Porsche986 – it’s one of the bug-eyed Scorpios from the mid-90’s or later…
Chevy Caprice
Ford something…Moon roof looks like a early to mid-90s Ford moonroof as does the windshield wipers…very similar to the 1992-1995 Taurus wipers.
Porsche986 and Wheeljack:
You are both wrong. It is a MK1 Scorpio (1985-1992).
Man, you guys are good. Scorpio it is.
Runfromcheney: I think you’re wrong on that… it does not appear to have the multi-colored taller wrap around tail lights. The later car had really skinny low red wrap around lights right above the bumper. I really think it is the later body. Most of the early cars were sold as a 5-door hatchback (Merkur Scorpio anyone?) but the later cars were only sold as a sedan/saloon.
From that angle, the new Rolls-Royce actually looks quite discreet and restrained.
I didn’t know any of Theodore Geisel’s designs have ever been made real!

Porsche 986:
I am going by the doors/door handles. The doors and handles on the “bug-eyed” generation are rounder and of a different shape. And there were MK1 Scorpio sedans. (Believe it or not, the Merkur Scorpio was much different then the actual Ford Scorpio)
Here is a pic for reference. As you can see, the doors, greenhouse and door handles are a perfect fit on the MK1.

In constast, here is the “Bug eyed” Scorpio. As you can see, the doors and greenhouse look nothing like the car in the picture.

That bad boy fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Twotone
That looks as bad as what I’ve seen done to some Chrysler 300’s.
Didn’t Johnny Cash write a song about this?
Actually it looks like the Ford Fairmont from the 1980’s.
I’ll retract my “bug-eye” Scorpio guess and go with a Mk.I – I had forgotten that they eventually offered a conventional sedan later in the model run of the Mk.I…
Pimpmobile
Everything, the donor was at least 6 dalmatians
Ford LTD.
Cruella should have stuck to her older car, it was much nicer.
BTW, the penalty for this should be consecutive life sentences. Considering how much ‘awful’ there is, that would work out to eternity.
Mitsuoka has a division in Europe?
Damn. Finally one I knew … but I was 20 posts late :-(
Chris Bangle is still not absolved of his crimes against taste.
Christ, some people just have too much free time on their hands…
The problem with this is the “Ricers” who might feel slightly less ashamed.
The Sedan came late in the Scorpio development, in 1990, the wagon in ’92. The Mk II had also a short cycle, ’92 to ’94. The bug eyed Scorpio is officially a Mk III, its production run was between 1994-98.
It’s the Homermobile! Right?

The seats – are those supposed to be leopard spots or cow spots? I would have gone with tiger stipes…
I want to know Why the hell they’d spend a couple grand on Daytons for this piece of crap?
Looks kinda like a Mazda 929 to me.
“A sin against Nature” is quite descriptive.
I doubt even those who put it together call it a success…
BTW, this was far easier than the usual classics pics where i usually have no clue where they are from.
Nobel prize award for Ugly
I’ll bet the horn sounds really sweet, too.
I think the donor is a Ford Fairmont sedan
I think they started with a Toyota Camry.
And I love what they’ve done to correct the Camry’s problem of insufficient front overhang. Talk about a crush zone!
It’s the nefarious evil twin of “Chitti Chitti Bang Bang!”
87-90 Camry.
Tempo or Topaz.
Isn’t that Scrooge McDuck’s limo?
someone had a little too much time on their hands huh? i hope its in the comic section of the local thanksgiving parade!
Ford Granada.
Looks like someone mated a Ford Scorpio to a Mohs.
Does the exhaust go into the wheel wells to keep the tires warm?
Looks like a Ford Fairmont to me. Whatever it is, let’s put some extra Chlorine in that gene pool.
