Last but not least, it’s time to play CC Clue. Nothing like blogging to make the time fly by. Daniel J. Stern identified the Volvo 122 on the second guess of that round. Can he do it again? Do I need to make them harder?

Looks like a quarter-panel extension on a full size ’68 Chevy.
Checker Marathon?
60’s era Benz finmobile?
Looks like some chrome is missing.
1970 or 1971 plymouth fury
OR
1970 or 1971 Chrysler
rear quarter panel of a ’70 Chev Impala, missing the bumper, though
Crap, somebody beat me to it
Left rear quarter of a (apparently hand painted) 68 Impala/Caprice (just above the bumper)
2010 Tata Nano.
Okay, how about 1970 Dodge Polara.
Are you sure this isn’t a picture from a new segment entitled: “Classic Umbrellas”?
Just brought the laptop to the garage…It’s not a ’72 Fury, but my guess is another early ’70’s late 60’s MoPar…
1977 Franswa Bubble, limited edition of course!!
Gidget’s mini skirt.
My first thought was a ’67 Caprice, but I think rpol35 is right that it’s a ’68.
Late 60’s Buick Wildcat or Lesabre
69 Impala. Maybe even an SS.
Not a ’70 Impala/Caprice — the bumper cutout is too rounded. I’m going to go with a ’68 model.
But it could be one of those fuselage-era Mopars that had the taillights in the bumper. Those cars are good examples that started off as decent-looking in the first year (1969), then were progressively ruined by poorly executed facelifts. The ’72 Polara/Monaco is one particularly hideous beast!
The references I have for 69-72 Mopar cars all are factory photos and illustrations that show a much smaller gap between the body and bumper. Nevertheless I think sportsuburbangt has it right, except that it could be a 72 or 73 Satellite or Sebring.
Could it be that this isn’t painted a factory color…?
1968/69 AMC Javelin?
I’m thinkin’ ’78 Chevy Malibu.
63-65 Riviera
It looks to me like the front fender above the clamshell light fixtures of a mid-sixties Riviera, yes?
Make them harder? I am humiliated to know that I have not been able to fugure out even one of these, despite exhaustive internet searches of car pictures. Yikes.
And I have no idea what this one is either. But it’s fun.
