Nature favors traveling in multiples; loners are at risk of death, or running down their energy sources, and unable to share their stored resources. To really appreciate the charge that traveling in twos can provide, make the jump (literally):

Ooh, look: a Porsche 1888!
So the answer to ‘why do you have two 944’s?’ Is ‘because they’re 944’s?’
They’re not 924’s. They’re 944’s. Nit picky little detail there.
Oops, thanks for the correction.
Can I just say how happy I am to look at a coupla nice 944s…
And for a SPLIT second.. I thought they were Mitsu Stations..
Starion. That horse has already been misspelled once!

I *heard* what you did there (after I read it out loud!). Haaaaarrrr! :-)
Even Porsches and their elite owners have to use jumper cables. How pedestrian.
I’m sure Porsche today sells a set of jumper cables with the logo and some custom trim inserts as a $350 option for the Boxster/Cayman and $550 for Carrera buyers.
Ahh the memories. I had to boost my 944S2 many times. Wonderful car…wish I still had it.
I’ve had to jump my 944 many times but in fairness it’s a 20-25 year old car. However most Porsches have not turned into a pile of rust b/c of the liberal use of galvanized steel for their frame and body panels. Still drives wonderful and now is a wonderful full blown racecar.
Paul –
Does the sun EVER shine there?
Well, it is winter here ya know.
We had sunshine a couple of weeks ago during a lovely inversion with 10 degree F nights and sub freezing days.
I went for a brief motorcycle ride on Saturday during 60 degree weather, only partly cloudy.
Yes, the sun does shine in Eugene.
To add to Oregon Sage: it does, especially all summer long and into fall. And I actually prefer shooting in the overcast; avoids glare and shadows.
I’m jealous. Their’s aren’t sitting under a foot and a half of snow like my 924S is.
