Our crack team of Canadian coders has finally tracked down why many of you could not edit comments. It did not work on most browsers except Internet Explorer, and even then, it occasionally crapped out. Good news: Problem fixed.
If you have still problems with editing comments, please leave an (unedited) comment here.

And not a moment too soon; my unedited posts were getting embarassing.
Next up: any chance of getting the mobile version of the page sorted out? It worked well for about the first day or so since the revamp but has been inconsistent since.
It worked OK with Firefox on Linux last nite. i’M suRe glAD siNce I cAN neverrr rite of Spelll tooo good.
I posted a comment yesterday and went to edit it. A grey box came up and the browser hung (firefox 3.5.5 Linux 64). When I reopened the article my comment was gone.
I’m still having issues of logging in if I click “reply” on a post. If I do that & login, it thows me back to the comment page as not logged in. If I click the “login” link at the bottom of the page instead of on a comment it seems to work. Help!
Robstar, CTRL+F5 in Firefox, your browser is holding on to the previously cached page. For the best results stay logged in or login when you first visit.
Thank you admin, I will give that a shot when I get home.
IE? Haven’t used IE regularly since MS stopped supporting it on the Mac.
Confirmed, editing works in Google Chrome, a Webkit browser.
I’m still seeing very slow page loads using IE8. Except on weekends.
/launch IE flames/
okay, lets give it a burl…
…and it’s still a nope for Firefox 3.5.5
Edit: And now it’s a yes. Maybe it’s slow or maybe I’m just impatient.
Why do all the cool kids hate IE? It always works just great for me.
OK Sweet. Now, what happened to the “Next Page” link at the bottom of the homepage?
Greigert, this bug should be fixed now. In any case I only reproduced it when not logged in.
Great!
Would it be possible to have the list of recent news articles return to the right margin?
Edit: Isn’t it huzzah? Maybe I should say “wasn’t” – I haven’t seen the term used in a while.

Ditto!
James2, we are aware of the issue and hope to have that portion of the page re-instated in the next day or two. Sorry for any troubles.
im not sure about comments but im using fire fox 3.5.5 and for some odd reason the website keeps reloading itself over and over etc… its getting awfully old to be halfway through an article and have it reload itself, then to have wait for it…
any suggestions?
Joe, that may be related to facebook connect. The facebook libraries require you to refresh the page when logging in or when your facebook details are updated, this is to the page can accurately pull this information from you session/cookies/etc.
Try fully logging out of TTAC and facebook and then logging back in again. You could also try clearing your cookies.
I just tested with my facebook account and did not have any automatic reloads other than the very first one after logging in.
Worked like a charm. Thanks admin!

Just installed Windows 7 and didn’t see any provision for editing after posting. I don’t know if there’s a connection…
