Mmmm. Want that Chevelle. I’m surprised that there are any sedans left; figured they were all cannibalized to restore SS coupes and ragtops years ago. Wouldn’t it be ironic to find the post sedans are actually rarer than SS coupes today?
Don’t get me started……….I had a 1967 SS396 Chevelle from 1973 until 1977, what a road warrior! It’s the proverbial one that got away, I never should have sold that car. I could write a book about the insanity of owning a car like that in my late teenage years!
The wood grain tape stripe on the Dodge Tradesman is really quite subtle for the early 70’s. I suspect the shag carpet inside is an equally restrained orange or olive green.
How many rooms did the Partridge family take?
No way, this is their quaalude-dealing cousin and his old lady meeting up.
Suddenly it’s 1975! Actually I’m trying to estimate the yards of shag in that van.
“yards of shag”?
Maybe “shags per mile”?
67
Wow, from the 60’s to the 70’s in the space of 1 parking space!
Cycar & Paul, this is the point where the hapless, harried, and chronically clueless Band Manager Reuben would be flipping out…
Oh!, I forgot about him. Where did he park his Saab Sonnet?
The ‘bu is a ’67, but I don’t know about the van.
The van is a pre-79
Cool! One to drive, one to work on!

My favorite Chevelles by far were the ’64 and ’65 (CyCar).
I’m liking these combo shots. First the Dodge Daytona / Plymouth Reliant combo, now this.
This can be a sub-brand of CC: CC-TWed — “Curbside Classic – Time Warp Edition”
Yes, I’ve raised my bar and will be featuring CC Two-Fers (sp?) from time to time.
I though the point of a van like this is that you don’t need to take the ladies to a motel.
Argh! You beat me to it!

Man, that is one awesome looking Shaggin’ Wagon.

Bergwerk, avacado (bile green) shag was my guess. I am with David H. 64+65 were the best looking Chevelles.
What’s that Eagles line? You can check out but never leave ?
You grab the “Cold Duck” and I’ll get the ‘ludes and meet you there…
