Hey, we’ve finally found someone who believes in the Volt and Chrysler’s alleged new products. Too bad he’s from the government that owns 60 percent of GM and 15 percent of Chrysler… and he can’t explain his optimism in anything but the broadest platitudes. Did Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood properly disclose his relationship with the state-owned automakers per FCC standards? Probably not. But that’s OK, since few probably took him seriously to begin with.

Couldn’t be bothered to watch the video. Everytime I watch this guy he gives me malaise…
Let’s see, GM will sell a whole lot of Chevy Volts if those people who enthusiastically believe in AGW put their money where their vocal stridency is and buy this Earth-saving electric car.
uh, that, coupled with a sudden and unexplicable decision by Toyota and Honda to leave the hybrid business … and to exclusively build V-10 pickups… (come to think of it, such an environment may even help Mr. Jacoby’s plans…)
