Right….this is where I say, How many are fleet sales?
Ha Ha, You beat me to it.
And this is where I say, “Only 11%”? I expected them to be as soaring as Ford after Toyota’s stumble.
These are strong numbers.
During February 2009, Hyundai was down only 1.5%, while Kia rose 0.4%. Only Subaru did better last February. And Ford was down 48.4% and GM was down 52.9% last February.
So the large increases for the non-H/K brands for February 2010 are merely recovery numbers – not really signs of strength – while H/K continues its steady climb.
Without hearing ‘exit interviews’ of actual customers, Ford’s increase may not be due to the Toyota stumble in particular, but rather its recovery over a terrible February 2009 in general.
