Must make Clue harder, must make clue harder…did I succeed? Probably not. You guys are awesome. Jimal hit the Thing on the first guess. Maybe we’ll at least get to five…six…or?

Body Side moulding for a 70’s Ford Truck.
1969 Dodge Polara 500 convert.
It’s yellow convertible week, so I think it’s a late 60’s/early 70’s Ford product.
Mercury Cougar?
Ford Bronco?
looks like a station wagon tailgate
Something tells me it is a yellow ’68 Chevelle convertible.

It’s an International Scout yellow convertible. Did they even make a convertible? I didn’t do any research because I was to busy driving the best European car that was made in the U.S., my 65 Corvair Monza. It is a convertible and it originally had yellow paint. Really it did!
I’m jealous!
International did make a pickup with a removable hardtop. A buddy of mine had a mid-70’s model in light green. I think it may have had a stripe down the side similar to this clue.
EDIT: Or is that the stripe on the tailgate?? I think it is!
1973 Ford Ranger XLT pickup
56 Chevy Bel Air
Edit: Same trim as my 64 Impala, what could it be?
We made it past nine, and no winner yet. Keep ’em coming!
I had a Mercury Montego MX with a panel like that on the trunk. If they made a convertible, that’s it. My coupe was “seafoam green” but everyone thought it was yellow.

1972 Chevy Cheyenne pickup.
~1972 Chevy Blazer
The clues were too easy, I was dropping hints left and right, and DweezilSFV named the Comet on guess number three. No more Mr. Nice Guy; no more hints. If someone names this car quickly, I’m going to very unhappy, but impressed. OK, get your Google Image tabs ready and…go!Cheap New Auto
I think Kadette has it.
Or a 70’s Dodge Ramcharger, with removable top.
Edited to add: Good job PN! It’s frustrating, because I know that I know this car, yet I cannot recall what it is; then there will that “D’Oh!” moment when it’s identified. Conversely, I love this series for that exact reason, kind of a love/hate thing.
50’s Rambler (the one with the fixed roof rails and sliding top).
1964 Ford Station Wagon

Trunk lid on a ’65 Chevrolet Malibu SS
That does look frustratingly familiar. It seems to most likely be a trunk lid rather than side trim. If so the shape and color appear to fall into the mid-60s to early-70s. Trucks would typically have thicker trim, but I’m hard pressed to remember a creased, concave shape like that. The shape sort-of fits the 1969-70 Plymouth Satellite/Dodge Coronet . . . but not quite. I suppose another option could be a Kaiser-era Wagoneer in top-end trim, but I haven’t found a picture that quite matches. Outta time!
I will run with the Plymouth Trailduster.
