Just caught this picture of Polish President Lech Kaczynski’s funeral motorcade on MSNBC, and the front end of the hearse caught my eye. That would be the first time I’ve ever laid eyes on a Maserati hearse. Full side view after the jump:

Rest in peace Mr. President.
that´s a LOT of chrome!
A Maserati hearse? WTF? Well, come to think of it, I’m sure there are a lot of gearheads who’d like to take their last ride in a Corvette or Porsche hearse.
There’s a 300C hearse right behind it as well.
Isn’t that cute.
Look at all the “hero worshippers.”
Or maybe they are there to view the vehicles.
Beats being hauled around in a Dodge Neon limo. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/1126/681/2812840158_large.jpg
He’s well past caring what he’s hauled around in.
Even the last ride should be a fast ride…
That some overhang in the back.
I honestly hope no rap stars see this on TV. I’m sure such a hearse would become all the rage after the next Bloods v Crips shoot out.
RIP

I was wondering what that hearse was when I saw it earlier today.
VLAD, if you’re correct about that, I’ll second it.
It’s undignified
Did Maserati actually designed this? Or it’s some conversion like those Hummer stretch limos?
Also, the four doors are a really weird thing to see on a hearse. Usually, to make a hearse, you remove all the bodywork from the B-pillar to the end and put the cabin for the coffin there. But keeping the second row of seats AND adding the cabin? That’s weird!
Intercar Modena does the Quattroporte to hearse conversion.
