Progress! It took all the way to the second guess to reveal the identity of the Mitsubishi van. Congratulations yoribe1. Well, it can’t get much worse than that. And I give a pretty distinctive item to look at. Let’s see what happens.

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but a question on the CCC rules – are guesses supposed to be from memory, or are aids such as Google Images (or books or old photos, for that matter) allowed?
I suspect Google Images is heavily used. It probably explains why I can’t stump TTAC’s B&B much anymore.
Cool, thanks for the reply, Images is the only chance I have of figuring these out. (and yes I agree even with images you still have to have to know what you are looking for).
This one to me keeps making me think “AMC” for some reason, probably based on color, but no match yet…
Even with google, you still have to have a decently solid initial guess.
Oh yes.
In the L300 van case, when I saw the lamp I knew what it was. Sadly it was already called when I saw it.
The overflow tray of a carbonated beverage dispenser dating from the 1970s era when men were men, wimmenfolk were wimmenfolk and barfy the wonder dog still licked whenever and where ever the mutt wanted to,
Back when America was great and the Commie Horde was easily defined and targeted.
And John Wayne was still alive and the sun in Vietnam sat in the east.
You know, the good old days before air pumps feeding air into exhaust manifolds and gulp valves gulped whatever they gulped and a horde of little air hoses enveloped our once basic internally combusted engines. Well, admittedly, technology has allowed a return to a more basic basicness if one ignores the wire harness of a modern land vessel.
And thank god those days are gone for good.
whatever it is, it doesn’t look like it was ever very expensive
Wow — 4 hours and no guesses yet.
I’m stumped, but I’ll throw out a guess anyway — 70’s Toyota FJ55 Land Cruiser.
Actually, I’m not sure where this trim piece is located: front, back, interior………
Jeep Wagoneer
For some reason it’s shouting lower grill of an old school pickup truck to me, but I have no idea what type of truck it could be from.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking, Nullo… 60s Dodge truck? I-H?
1st gen Mercury Capri? Maybe?
That was my first guess, but it doesn’t match any of the pics I can find.
I’m thinking 1964 Chevy/GMC C-10, that strip that’s behind the side running light under the hood
It looks a bit like the lower rear grille of a 1962 or 1963 Corvair, except for the fact that the aluminum is too thick.
Looks like an AMC Gremlin to me.
I’m going to throw out there an early 70’s Ford pickup. Oh heck, lets go with 1972.
It seems to me that the early Saab 99 had a louvered vent like that on the rear fender.
It sure seems familiar. I’ll say Corolla or Corona. Definitely a 70’s color.
