After nine days of seeing Smarts piled bumper to bumper like cord wood on the curbs of Paris, its a bit startling to readjust to our extravagant elbow room, especially when confronting something like this. Given that only the “middle” axle is driven on this stretch van, I imagine the driver tends to avoid certain terrain, like steep driveway aprons.

Wow! It’s the spiritual complement to the Tyrell P34!
jajajaja. It’s a combination of the Tyrell P34 with the Starsky/Hutch Gran Torino livery!
I ‘m willing to bet that Jackie Stewart wouldn’t touch this thing w/ a barge pole!
Need more pics of that one!
If you park like they do in Paris, then maybe you could fit two Smarts in the rear of this beast.
Actually I think 2 Smart forfour or 3 Smarts.
Looks like Shaggy and Scooby needed more space!
Only in Eugene!
I’m sure it seemed like a good idea at the time.
I’ll show you a Swagger Wagon!
I’d love to see more details on that van… I think if I was going to go to all the effort to increase the length, I’d have added some more headroom on that aft section, but it still seems pretty cool. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

That may be part of the reasoning behind the front wheel drive GMC Motorhome, AKA EM-50…
I wonder what the turning radius on that beast is. Can’t be very maneuverable.
Probably more maneuverable than this…

Partitions and rent out apartments.
Utterly pimptastic
Gawd those stripes are entirely Epic. I can only imagine how shag-tastic that interior must be. More pictures please, Paul!
