No, this isn’t a LeMons car. Nor is it some hillbilly answer to the age-old question, “What good is an old German luxury sedan?” Rather, it’s a Kamerawagen, designed for filming of some sort. Presumably it was converted back when the six-cylinder, five-speed E32 “Siebener” on which it is based was new.

The 730i was produced between 1988 and 1994, putting out a relatively tepid 188 horsepower in Euro trim. TTAC’s Best and Brightest can no doubt figure out if there was a US-market pickup which would have delivered more for less; obviously the first-gen SVT Lightning would have bitch-slapped this Kraut back to the Ardennes.
