struggled to make this 5,995-pound, technology-packed, luxurious SUV make sense.
Apparently he’s not the only one. From the looks of things, the Japanese tuning house Invader Technologies is having a hard time making the LX570 make sense… at least to anyone who’s not a drug-addled, mobbed-up Russian gangster. I suppose that, by post-Mansory tuning standards anyway, the Invader L60 isn’t exactly breaking new ground… still, I’m amazed by how freshly insulted my optical nerves feel.

Very close but insulted isn’t quite strong enough. Personally, my optical nerve feels violated.

It never ceases to amaze me that, somewhere, in someones mind, body kits like this are somehow a good thing… and one which they are willing to pay a premium for.

Good Heavens! That thing makes an Escalade look refined. All those horizontal bars/slots in the grill look like good places to keep the barf bags!
This is trying to be an Escalade killer. Couldn’t you just see Russian Mobsters in Armani Suits, with sunglasses and Ak-47s coming out of it?

The question is, what if a girl you met and liked drove that? Would you continue to see her, or would you tell her, “we’re just too different”
The car will look old and dated in just 3 or 4 years. The girl will have a longer shelf life.
I have a theory about aftermarket body kits. Almost all the really talented guys and gals who can draw cars already have jobs with real car companies.
Besides, this is not nearly the eyeball rape that the Kanter Concepts “789” is.

Weirdly, this is the first time I’ve seen the Lexus SUV look like the Scion xD.
Also, this is hard to type right now, because my eyes are in the shower, crying and saying that they just can’t get that image off of them!

Its a overpriced LAND CRUISER at best and THATS on RECALL TOO!
Where’s the big gold chicken on the hood , the CB , and Burt Reynolds to go along with that 70s Trans Am SUV ?
It needs more scoops and gills… just kidding of course, however it does look like what my 12 year old self would have drawn during math class. The interior is PepBoys special, when all else fails put carbon fiber “stickers” on all plastic surfaces.
