Debuting at the Beijing Auto Show on April 23rd is the Fiat Viaggio. If it looks familiar in these teaser shots, that’s because it’s a Dodge Dart with a different badge.
The made-in-China sedan will come with one of two 1.4L turbocharged Fiat engines, with 120 or 150 horsepower. A 5-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic will be offered, with production starting in July. The Viaggio is set for a Q3 2012 launch, but we won’t know anymore until the car’s debut. In the mean time, the teasers are all you get.

Next step, making Dodge Darts in China for the US market.
Maybe they can call it the Dodge Viagra.
I think Buick Viagra has a nice ring to it.
GS650G, they’re already manufacturing Dodge Darts for the U.S. market in a plant in Illinois. Besides, the Viaggio is for the Chinese market only.
While interesting, this thing’s name immediately conjures up memories of the Flying Vagina. (Now en italiano!)
Viaggio means travel in italian. Pretty ok name actually.

The word Viagra in Chinese was twisted a bit to Wei in Ga which loosely translated to “strong like steel”. Could be a good name.
I like it. The grille looks better this way without the Dodge cross. Though somehow I’m reminded of the Chrysler 200 or 300 grill. Well, guess that’s badge engineering for you.
BTW, bring this car to Brazil! You need it here to polish your brand and get more moneyed people into your fold. Viaggio rolls off the tongue pretty well in Portuguese, too. See, no changes necessary. That 1.4 is good enough for us, too. Bring it. Just do it. Now.
