One of our readers (he is a true reader, he never comments, doesn’t have a handle, just reads …) sent us this picture of a car dressed up in a tight corsage. Actually, he sent two.
Second picture. Not much change. Corsage still tight. Michigan plate. What could it be? The reader says he has “No clue. The rear resembles a Chrysler 200. ” I have no idea either. Do you?

impala
The DLO fail and brake light pattern scream Sebring to me.
The Impala has already been revealed. I have seen a few pull out of GM’s Tech Center recently.
I agree that it is a Chrysler. Probably the 200/Sebring replacement.
I wish I had another car along side of it to compare size with.
I’m guessing Lincoln, and it will be a poor seller. Yuk.
Thankfully, you’re wrong. But it could have been with that junk in the trunk.
OK, I’m changing my mind. I think it’s a Dart-based Chrysler small car. You can see the small rear quarter panel window lines under the camo. It matches the Dart perfectly. The rear window looks like the same shape too. The CHMSL has moved from the top of the window to the bottom, but that doesn’t seem unreasonable if the Chrysler variant lacks the full width taillight from the Dart.

Good call. There is a very strong similarity to the Dart. The only differences that I see are the position of the rear door handle and the location of the license plate.
Buick!
Boot lid profile is very similar to current GM designs, I guess the lid itself has other lamps. The steelies look very much like the GM ones.
The pattern on the doors is very similar to the one in the LaCrosse.
My first thought was also Buick.
It’s the next-gen Nissan Sentra. Sequentially similar license plate more a coincidence than anything else, though.

Dang, you’re right. I wonder why they bothered to camo it, since it’s already been revealed in China. Here’s what it looks like without the camo:

Nissan Syphilis? I immediately thought it was the next generation Corolla as soon as the picture loaded. But it looks like it is probably a Nissan.
Yes, that is it all right. Really quite dull.
The first thing I thought when I saw this was “new Sentra,” too.
You’re right. That dip in the line on the driver’s door lines up really well.
100% correct. My friend who works for Nissan mentioned this today.
i think impala too. too bloated around the back to be the new ford fusion…
or maybe some nasty buick
Hey, not sure where else to put this… but ‘auto play ads’ are still going and they are awful…
That looks uncannily similar to Infiniti’s M sedan. Why on earth would they do something so stupid?
I say it’s a small Lincoln. That broad upper panel of the trunk lid reminds me of MKZ. I imagine L I N C O L N spelled across it. But the rear window outline, partially disguised by the vinyl, is just like the current MKS. So too is the placement of the door handles a few inches below the long crease near beltline. The tailights look like the jewelry on Lincolns these days. Not very wide tires says not a powerful car.
What did I win?
100% Sentra
Who cares? It’s going to be another ugly 4 cyl. blob with CVT.
Prior to reading all the responses I was prepared to casually guess Avalon.
By the way, a tight corsage? Maybe a tight corset.
Looks like a Nissan or Infiniti body
What is sad is that some people here guessed Lincoln. While it was actually a Nissan, an ecomony-class, designed primarily for the Chinese market-Nissan to boot. What’s that saying about the (supposedly luxury) brand?
C’mon Bertel…you’re having us on, right? You gonna tell me that the shibari king doesn’t know the difference between a “corsage” and a “corset”…..hint: corsets are tight….corsages are small groups of flowers.
S-Class was better
Next generation Panther… Bwaahaha…
