What is almost certainly the most powerful sedan in the world will be unveiled Wednesday at a special event in Detroit.
TTAC’s Ronnie Schreiber will be on hand to cover the unveiling of Dodge’s “next ultimate performance vehicle”. The reveal is scheduled for 10:30 AM, so check back shortly after that for photos and information on the 707-horsepower muscle sedan.

OMG! I get to be the first to squeal my excitement!
Thanks, leg cramp!
Yay Hellcat.
Honestly, my enthusiasm is waning. I would still like to have one obviously.
With a name like that, it has to be good.
Meh.
You can always buy more power.
Clever engineering, on the other hand, is the only way to get efficiency.
This wasn’t always true. When my dad was a young man, you had to re-engineer your car in order to go fast. But that was a half century ago, and now my minivan can get 2nd gear rubber, and you can just buy a car with as much power as you want. Spending money just isn’t as interesting as clever engineering, at least to me.
(I don’t normally weigh in on articles that “aren’t my thing”, but I thought this one needed a dissenting voice, and I haven’t had coffee yet.)
I brought a first gen 4×4 s10 blazer from an average of 18 to 24 by upgrading a 2.8l to a 3.4l and adding a 4.3l tb, does that count?
Not everyone wants to drive an ugly little potato on wheels, for those that do, there are plenty of choices, for those that don’t, we want something fun besides a truck.
Eat your heart out Aston Martin Rapide.
It’s second hand, but the ADM on a Hellcat Challenger here is $30k. One potential buyer added to the “call me if you wake up” list. This is the kind of stupidity that can make this a showroom paperweight instead of a rolling, roaring, flagship.
Damn……30k markup …seriously? :(
My wife wants a new car next year and we were considering cross shopping the challenger to the new mustang but that’s crackhead territory.
Personally I’m a fan of the charger anyway and hellcat on top is just icing but I have a hard time paying markup on stuff like this.
I have to believe they’ll drop the ADM as soon as they can get two hellcats in at the same time.
I’d still be way more interested in them selling me a Scat Pack Charger with the 6.4 and comparable equipment to the Challenger version for under $40K.
