While everybody else was trying to get on the list for press drives of the new NSX, our intrepid leader took a test ride of the UNI-CUB. Filming by me.

A mobile toilet. About time.
Remember:
Derek is banning people for snarky comments for weeks on end.
The UNI-CUB reminds me of Shun Akiyama’s secretary’s horseback riding machine in Yakuza 4, except hers is stationary.
This is infinitely cooler, more innovative, and just more fun than the NSX.
Derek was indeed being a pansy and not fully demonstrating the capabilities, but this game-changer is so radical that it probably is intimidating at the beginning.
So Jack really does have game. And not just with the pen/keyboard. Perhaps the most insightful look behind the curtain at TTAC yet.
First: vertical video? Really, Jack?
Second: this thing seems like the predecessor to the WALL-E hoverchairs. I guess we might as well embrace the inevitable at this point.
I have no excuse other than I had other things on my mind at the time.
The last 30 seconds explained everything.
Im sure we can understand that, the representative lady is indeed very attractive and seems like a willing companion.
I think we figured that out, Jack…LOL
In your defense, the shot is framed better that way in this particular instance.
Jeez, Derek. Hundreds of Japanese school girls not only rode Uni-Cubs but they performed in a music video on them.

Unicubs in action. Rather ( very ) cool video honestly.
Rather cool? That was AMAZING!
Glad u like them, i thought i was goin to be panned for linking it over here.
Jack’s video is very funny (go Derek!) and this video is really cool, but I dont’ think these are going to steal any sales from Segway.
I’ll never mock a Segway again.
Now that was epic. Truly.
Wow Derek is much more attractive than I pictured him to be!
That Jackass reference was gold.
Hope he has fun with the NSX. It would be a great drive.
If that photo is indeed Derek, he reminds me of Borat.
Cab-over OWD (One Wheel Drive) EV, the future is now!
Maybe we finally have a new vehicle that millennials can afford? I hear there was going to be a 600hp version but a focus group of enthusiasts panned it because it wasn’t powerful enough.
That’s a minute thirty-six that I’ll never get back.
Wow, you watched it all the way to the end?
Jack, Lexus may get ragged on for having the predator grilles, but you sir are the real predator.
Aiieee, there’s only one way to position an airbag in that and I don’t want to even think about its deploying. Birth control ejection seat.
yeah, it ( the air bag ) would be made by takata, so your experience would be a kin of sitting on a claymore
While I don’t blame Jack for (intentionally?) underestimating her age, some quick research shows she is much older than this short clip makes it seem.
Always good to see Jack compiling material for a future “love gone wrong” story.
Figure out how to make it get coffee into and back out of an office drone sitting on it for ten hours straight, and my employer would buy tens of thousands of them.
I must be too old ~
What is it ? .
A mobility scooter ? .
Who’d want this thing and why ? .
