What’s white with blue lights all over itself and a pair of haunting eyes? The Infiniti Q60 Concept, of course [Live photos now available – CA].
The 2+2 coupe is powered by the same 3-liter twin-turbo direct-injection V6 that first bowed with the Q80 Inspiration from last year’s Paris Motor Show. Power from the mill is sent to the back via a seven-speed auto.
Inside, hand-stitched leather, carbon fiber accents, and four quilted-and-bolstered bucket seats greet the driver and passengers. Meanwhile, the driver (or up to four of them) can use their Intelligent Key with the Infiniti InTuitionTM system to customize their preferences, from seating position and HVAC, to navigation and telematics.
On the outside, human eye-inspired LED headlamps uses fiber optic-esque features that, when lit by the projector, deliver “a high-tech stare” at the long road ahead. Similar features make up the tail lamps, while the badge and various interior and exterior LED lighting are done up in blue.
Though a concept, the Q60 Concept points toward a production-based sports coupe Infiniti plans to begin production in 2016.

Damn that’s nice! An Infiniti dealer will be my next stop after I pick up my lottery win.
Sign me up, I want one. Damn that is sweet sexy ride. This will kill Lexus RC sales, and who knows, even persuade a few Audi owners to switch over (i know, I know, I am pushing it here). Anyone defending Cadillac’s design studio should look at this
Based in aesthetics alone, RC vs Q60, that would be a difficult choice! This has a nicer nose than the RC and the lines look a lot cleaner. It’s a good thing I couldn’t possibly afford either!
Gatling gun inspired > Human eye inspired
Your 05 Q45 awaits then.
Best looking Hyundai Genesis Coupe yet!
Jeesh, the detailing on this thing is exquisite. Look at all the detail in those headlamps and tail lamps! I really, REALLY like this. It does give a sexy half-lidded eyes stare. I’m into the bottle cap/shark fin detailing on the control knobs as well.
The little nub in the hood above the emblem has gotta go though.
That rear 3/4 view is a bitchslap to bimmer’s 4 and 6 coupe designs. Except for the cleft pallete front end, this thing ticks nearly every coupe box I have. That control knob is awesome.
This is an attractive car. I wonder if Johann had any input in this design before he left Infiniti?
Now, is this a G or an M? In old parlance I mean. I’ve quite lost touch because I simply didn’t care when they renamed this line of losers.
This would be the G37 coupe replacement. If it hadn’t already been replaced by the Q60 of course, which is really still the G37. Changing names before a redesign like this was asinine.
The soft lines mixed with teh hard lines look a little odd to me. Especially that front fender vent. But…it’s a concept and sexy headlights and mirrors always seem to change to actual production models. We’ll see. I can’t keep track of what infinity models fall where anyway.
Not really my style, but good to see Infiniti making an effort. Unfortunate that they’re going the Honda route with two screens in the center stack. Do luxury car buyers have so much time on their hands that they prefer to dig through menus to turn on the heated seats?
