The 2016 Ford Focus RS will make its North American debut in New York, featuring some different alloys and a new shade of blue paint.
While specs remain the same, the RS won’t go on sale until spring of 2016.

That grille is much better with the darker color.
I was just thinking it might look better if the plastic grille shield was body colored instead. I can’t get with a huge swath of matte black plastic.
I agree. But this is still better than the gray plastic. Adding an additional color was dumb.
I had forgot all about the shots with the grey color on there. You’re definitely right.

Surely a lighting effect?
I agree. It looks better this way.
Those are very clear, nice gauges! One criticism of the interior I have – the vent open/close knobs are far too big and highlighted in the interior. No need for that.
OMG YOU CAN CLOSE THE VENT!
I suppose they had to fill up that dead space with something.
If it bothers you I respect that, but they seem just fine to me. Didn’t even notice until you said something.
I’m on the dealer’s “list” for one to replace my FoST.
A few tidbits these new pics,
I sincerely hope there’s some kind of night mode for MFT 3.0
Having that white background glow at night would get annoying if not dangerous.
Looks like there’s an alcantara (microfibre?) seat option.
I guess this is “Nitrous Blue”.
Still no dead pedal.
Big fan of this car. And I really like the color.
I’d really like to see a “delete” option for the wing. And then I’d slap the stock 16″ wheels from the normal Focus. I really like the wheel/tire ratio on that one, and the size comes in sticky rubber options.
Do you think the stock 16″ wheels would fit over the larger rotors and Brembo calipers of the RS?
Agree with the need for a delete option for the rear wing. This car will attract enough of John Law’s attention, even without a wing.
Expect that original owners can do a brisk business in selling the rear wing to teenage regular Focus owners with more muffler than sense.
God the want is so strong. Anyone need an extra kidney or a piece of liver? Both slightly used but in top notch working order.
And after ADM you too can own one for S5 money.
*sigh*
I wonder if a Euro-spec or otherwise RHD version will make its way to Japan? I’m not really in the market for a car but I like the idea of rolling around Japan in a hot-hatch *FORD* that could probably blow the doors off of a WRX.
