The BRZ of a few enthusiasts’ dreams, the Subaru STI Performance Concept was revealed at the 2015 New York Auto Show.
Power for the performance division’s showcase comes from a 2-liter flat-four made for the Subaru BRZ Super GT race car, pumping out 350 horsepower to the back. Aggressive aero, braking, exhaust and chassis upgrades, and suspension enhancements complete the package.
As for whether or not the BRZ itself will get an STI variant, no word has been officially been given beyond a confirmation that more STI models overall will come into the USDM family.

The closeup photo of the steering wheel and manual shifter also shows a flappy-paddle labeled UP.

This thing is ghastly, and should never be allowed to wear an STI badge if it’s not AWD.
All the BRZ (and its Toyota twin) needs is 50% more power. The rest of the car is fine as is. The body work on the concept car is fine on the race track or in a car show. On the street, it’s silly and makes the driver look like a fool.
The BRZ should have had the STI turbo motor as an option from day one. And come in a hatchback configuration. Once those two things are fixed I might buy one. This concept is over the top and silly, but oddly the brakes look too small maybe because the wheels are stupid big?

There are alot of vehicle choices which have this effect.
Nothing but vaporware, I bet. And the interior is still awful and tacky. Subaru has no interest in these things. Can I show you a Forester today?
