It hurts me to say, but I wouldn’t count out an M7 at least making a car show appearance to gauge interest. Esecially when the Panamera exists.
Now that the M5 is high powered luxo-barge and M badged SUVs exist, I guess why not? The M brand clearly has nothing to do with racing any more and is just the new BMW’s version of AMG: Lot’s of power, big brakes & large exhausts but totally unsuitable for the track. With enough power, the 7 series could fit the bill (and enjoy similar depreciation to the AMG S65).
