Legendary DJ and hip-hop artist Grandmaster Flash is asking fans for help in finding his Dodge Charger that he said was “given away” at a New York parking garage July 16, ABC News is reporting.
Grandmaster Flash, whose real name is Joseph Saddler, asked for help Sunday on his social media accounts, saying he dropped his white Dodge Charger off and returned two hours later July 16 to discover a parking attendant had given the car to someone else who looked like Saddler.
According to ABC News, Saddler reported the car as stolen to the NYPD on July 16, three hours after the incident happened. Saddler said the car was full of vinyl records and equipment.
Saddler said the parking lot attendant released the car without a parking stub or identification.
The owner of the garage said the attendant who mistakenly gave away Saddler’s car has been fired.
On Sunday, Saddler said the car has not yet been returned.

So, does bigtruckseriesreview look anything like Grandmaster Flash?
No relation…
I don’t have a particularly sought after make/model of vehicle but nonetheless I feel incredibly uneasy using Tetris style parking lots that require leaving your keys with a min. wage, inattentive, attendant.
It is one of those painful scenarios that feels all at once necessary but somehow un-American and not worth the risk.
This opinion is not based on a bad experience or poor service but only on a what if scenario like described in the article.
Keep in mind the monthly parking spaces costs more than the rent of 90% of the country.
This is a scam the NYC garages run. You bring your car in and they give you your ticket, they have a rental that matches your cars description (ie white dodge), the “renter” sends somebody they know to get the rental, the somebody takes your car because “they never actually saw the rental they were picking up”, you give the valet your ticket and they give you the rental car, and finally the “renter” and their pal use your car for their needs legal or otherwise.
Dibs on the dubs!
And he waited 3 hours after that to call the boys in blue?!? Wonder what else was in the car?
At least the repo man didn’t grab it.
That kind of reasoning is probably why he decided to wait three hours before he reported it stolen
How about trying to hack into the U-Connect system? Maybe there is a LoJack like or Find my iPhone function in it.
“It’s like a jungle sometimes/It makes me wonder how I keep from going under”
They made a Seinfeld episode about this. Your car is being used for prostitution, sorry.
I wonder what he is more worried about, the car or the records? The car is insured (I would imagine), the records are probably a warped pile of useless at this point. At least they would be here in Florida.
“had given the car to someone else who looked like Saddler.”
It’s almost like a certain kind of person buys a Charger and then does that to it. Hmm.
Even when owned and modified by a wealthy rap legend, it still looks like a cheap rental.
