Self-titled automotive manipulator Theophilus Chin has rendered up a coupe version of the latest model born in Whitley.
The Jaguar F-PACE shown here sans its two rear passenger doors looks equally sharp and useless like the three-door Land Rover Evoque. Therefore, good ol’ Theo also gave it the best name you could possible give such a creation — F-Utility Coupe, or F-UC.
The render looks to keep the same wheelbase as the real life, four-door F-PACE but shortens it visually with longer front doors.
Let’s hope that Jaguar never builds this, but dropping it a couple inches and calling it the F-RACE would work for me.
Actually, I change my mind. F-UC it.

Looks like a Range Rover with a Jaguar grill.
And why not? JLR = Jaguuuuuar-Land Rover.
I concede
Looks to me like a 3 door hatch at 125% scale. Oddly disconcerting.
If I could get my wife’s 2013 Fit at 125% scale I’d be pretty happy.
I *thought* that’s what the HR-V was going to be.
That rear 3/4 screams Volvo C-whatever-the-little-hatch-was.
Well, I say “Hell Yes!” I love crossovers. 3 door crossover? Hell Yes! Now, if only someone would render up a single seat two door crossover I’d be in Heaven! One door even. Just crawl through from the back! Better yet, a fold out catapult to just throw you into the front seat. Yeehaa!!!
I actually really like it. I picture the owner as someone with no kids (or a kid mobile as the 2nd car) who needs/wants the enclosed cargo space, AWD, etc.
If its pretty much a luxury commuter with perhaps taking a client out to lunch, wife out to dinner etc, I think itd be great. My two door Trooper was very useful for a single guy like me. I did give ny friend and her kids a ride a few times,it didnt kill anyone who had to get in the back.
Think of it as a crossoverized Shooting Brake style wagon.
To.me, as someone who doesnt really like crossovers, a two door Edge Sport would be excellent.
JLR should build this. It’s looks really cool, much much nicer than an X6
It’s a more refined Isuzu Vehi-Cross with only slightly better rearward visibiliy than a Lamborghini.
Chin should have lowered the rear beltline and enlarged the back window. The fuel filler belongs on the driver’s side too. Too bad Chin doesn’t do interiors too. He could eliminate the nav, screen, radio, all cell phone and music apps, and toss out the cup holders too – just basic knob/switch controls and no distractions, so the driver can concentrate on the driving experience, slaloming through traffic on the morning commute.
