The China Association of Auto Manufacturers (CAAM) is confident that  total auto sales in China may reach up to 16 million units, says Global Times. They seem to be unfazed by the recent cooling-off.

With seven months behind us, even just a little growth will lift China over the 16m mark.

During the first seven months of the current year, China already produced and sold over 10m units. The 17.5m will probably remain elusive. Better luck next year.
