Automotive News has good news for Buick dealers. Two new products will be debating at next week’s North American International Auto Show.
With the departure of the Volkswagen Eos, Chrysler 200 Convertible and Volvo C30, Buick is looking to enter into the now dead front-drive four seat convertible segment. Buick dealers were recently shown a version of the Cascada, which is said to be arriving Stateside in 2016.
Automotive News is reporting that the Opel Cascada will make it Stateside in 2016. Aside from giving Buick a fresh new product that isn’t a crossover, the Cascada arrives at an opportune time to capitalize on a small but important niche: the rental market.
Industry sources tell TTAC that Buick is due for a new niche car in the next couple of years, and it could only be one of two models.
