And if the base 911 isn't fast enough, they point out that the 911 Turbo pollutes less than your average F430, R8 or Gallardo and gets better mileage than any of them. Who needs a Prius when you can save the planet in a Porsche?

Over a 30 mile span with speeds between 75 and 85 mph, I achieved 29 mpg in a Boxster.
I can understand how Porsches and Corvettes get decent mileage with lots of power, but I’ve never understood how Ferraris and Lamborghinis get such horrible mileage with the same power levels. Can it possibly be entirely due to gearing?
