car-rent.jpgYou may have noticed a few changes to the site over the last few days: disappearing and reappearing car reviews, some new functions, a flaming warning above the edit box, a bigger edit box in which not to flame, etc. Yes, our most excellent programmers have been busy doing a little pre-winter cleaning. The editorial side of this endeavor thank them for their hard-work, creativity and perspicacity (in cyberspace, no one can smell you sweat). And now, finally, we can return to podcasting. I've chosen Mr. Justin Berkowitz for our daily cast. He's got the right 'tude for the job and doesn't actually have a job– the "real" kind that doesn't let you podcast from a company-sponsored cubicle. We'll be riffing on our content for your dining and dancing pleasure. Enjoy. Oh, and the best way to clear your cache to see the prettified site: click on "classic" in the header bar, then click on "new" in the top right corner.

Daily podcast? Huzzah! I can now aurally remove myself from my “real” cubicle job each day while sneaking peeks at all the latest comments and postings. Keep up the good work.

ThankYouThankYouThankYou! I’ll miss Spinelli, but Los Jalops seem to have better things to do than get a podcast going again.

For those of you who loathe running, I highly recommend trying to run while listening to car-related banter. I stopped running in the morning when the old Jalopnik related podcasts dropped in frequency, but before then, they helped me get up at 5AM everyday for a solid 6 weeks.

    Viva la netcast!

Also – that short movie you took the picture from for the article was hilarious.

Robert, thanks so much for bringing back the Daily Podcast. Love them. I subscribe to TTAC on iTunes Podcasts and listen via mp3 player in my car. Thanks to TTAC Podcasts, I arrive at my destination chock full of witty automotive repartee to effortlessly impress followers of the old automotive media.

P.S. Please remind Spinelli to watch his mic level, as I’ve discovered BMW does not warrantee the front passenger door speaker on an E39.

Is that exhaust smoke in the picture from the plane or the Jeep? ;-)

If it were the Jeep, it’d be blue :)
