The SEAT Panda was made from 1980 to 1985.
The MG TF started production in 2002.
Of course it would have been very innovative to use a 2002 car in a 1980 ad, but… it#s pretty safo to assume if they had to license complete car designs from FIAT, they probably didn’t have the engineering abilities for time travel.
