We’re trying something new here at TTAC. Some folks really love the Farago + Berkowitz podcasts that focus more on industry and on what’s in the TTAC news. Others said that while they liked those, what was really up their alley were podcasts where I just had your average bar talk with Lieberman about cars. So why not both? While we don’t plan to have, say, eight divisions of podcasting, this way you get up to 20 minutes per day of TTAC podcasting, plus your choice of focus. And on the topic of doubling, the Berkowitz/Lieberman car chats will be posted over on Lieberman’s main master – Autofiends.com – as well. In today’s cast with Robert, we hit on the Mazda2, Edmunds, and Rick Wagoner.

Not a bad idea. I approve.
I like the two podcasts…something else to listen to while I’m working and gives a nice break from NPR.
So I take it Lieberman is Toyota and Justin is Lexus? (I keed, I keed)
In addition to the different focus of the podcasts. The Mr Farago, Mr Berkowitz podcast has a more analytical dynamic. Like a robust wine to the beer time with Justin and Johnny.
Both are thoroughly enjoyable.
Wranglin’ Rick Wagoner.
Justin, I don’t see why the Mazda2 would have trouble meeting US crash test standards considering it’s based on the Fiesta which will be here soon. Also, that 1.3 liter engine isn’t the only one available. You can get it with a 1.5 as well.
Mazda has a few other cars with electric steering; the RX-8 and Speed3 come to mind.
Electric steering can suck, but it doesn’t have to.
My thoughts exactly about the new A4 interior.

The electric stearing in the S2000 doesn’t suck!
I am very happy for more podcasts. I found this site, because of the podcasts. I chuckle now that Justin’s sound is clear and Farago’s is muddled.
