I’d also ask where is our Audi A4 Avant S-line diesel or our Honda Accord Tourer EX GT diesel – both 6 speed manuals! (check the British Audi and Honda sites).

On the gasoline side, I’d take a Subaru STI-S402 wagon (had an 05 5MT Legacy GT wagon for awhile…should of kept that).

Last season’s Top Gear where they reviewed the new Audi RS6 Avant with the V10 was sweet, except the part where I subsequently found out they were not releasing it in the US.

The BMW wagons devalue a bit faster than the sedans because they just don’t sell as much. The 5-Series wagon was always a good purchase for that reason.
That’s a nice ride but a 3-series wagon is more of a statement that a practical tool. There’s almost no more usable space than the sedan. 5-series on the other hand is a real wagon.
Speaking as the owner of an E46 wagon I can only say YUM gimme some of that.
But since that one is a keeper (little things like auto tranny failures at 70k notwithstanding), so yeah, where the hell are the Audi TDIs and the Accord/TSX wagons … come on people!
Damn that’s sexy. It’s like a 3-series Protege5.
Where is our (North American) 335d Touring?

Sigh. Wagons feel no love in the states. :(
@ Kman:
+1
Now that’s what I’m talking about! A beemer I’d actually want to buy…

I miss the V8, all-wheel-drive E500 wagon.
@pariah
That’s exactly what I thought when i saw it! Protege5 was a good looking wagon.
Very cool, but likely stunningly (high) priced.
