!["The renowned company [AC Schnitzer] is here presenting for the first time its interpretation of the new facelifted 3-series. As well as customised accessories, visitors will marvel at the optimised version of the 3-litre Diesel. The power rises from 180 kW / 254 HP to 209 kW / 284 HP, and the torque peaks at 570 instead of 520 Nm."](https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/acs320facelift0820front20kl-466x350.jpg)
Damn that’s sexy. It’s like a 3-series Protege5.
Where is our (North American) 335d Touring?
@Kman:
I’d also ask where is our Audi A4 Avant S-line diesel or our Honda Accord Tourer EX GT diesel – both 6 speed manuals! (check the British Audi and Honda sites).

On the gasoline side, I’d take a Subaru STI-S402 wagon (had an 05 5MT Legacy GT wagon for awhile…should of kept that).

Sigh. Wagons feel no love in the states. :(

Now that’s what I’m talking about! A beemer I’d actually want to buy…
Last season’s Top Gear where they reviewed the new Audi RS6 Avant with the V10 was sweet, except the part where I subsequently found out they were not releasing it in the US.
I miss the V8, all-wheel-drive E500 wagon.
@pariah
That’s exactly what I thought when i saw it! Protege5 was a good looking wagon.
Very cool, but likely stunningly (high) priced.
indi500fan:
The BMW wagons devalue a bit faster than the sedans because they just don’t sell as much. The 5-Series wagon was always a good purchase for that reason.
That’s a nice ride but a 3-series wagon is more of a statement that a practical tool. There’s almost no more usable space than the sedan. 5-series on the other hand is a real wagon.
Speaking as the owner of an E46 wagon I can only say YUM gimme some of that.
But since that one is a keeper (little things like auto tranny failures at 70k notwithstanding), so yeah, where the hell are the Audi TDIs and the Accord/TSX wagons … come on people!
