Some ugly colors. what is it the Crayola collection?
There are a couple 09’s mixed in with the 2010’s..
It also seems that he doesnt seem to realize these are the newly redesigned mustangs until he passes the last car, where he suddenly goes “whoa”, something seems different with these mustangs. I’m guessing the mix of 09’s and 2010’s had him confused.

Was that in Detroit? What’s wrong is they weren’t being carjacked.
He says “whoa” to a V6 Mustang when he’s passed two V8s. The video plays like its meant to be one of the manufactured “viral” videos.

My guess is you wouldn’t act so tough on the streets of Detroit. Neither the country nor that region need this type of misinformed hate-speech. Straighten up or take your act elsewhere. This community is in search of the truth…not propagating ill-conceived rhetoric.

i deffinetaly chuckled. just looking at the apartment buildings in the background at 0:44 honestly ( no pun intended )…
It was shot in San Francisco, down around 5th street from the looks it of, south of Market.
If the cars weren’t meant to be seen, then somebody would have said, “Shoo!” to the guy taking the video and the guy who was standing in the street but didn’t get run over.
Also, the guys who were on the Synchronized Car Wiping Team seemed to be in uniform. I’ve never seen production assistants in uniform.
First guys – lighten up a bit – it’s meant as a joke… sort of.
I used to live in the Metro. I’ve been downtown Detroit plenty of times to know I’d rather be elsewhere (with the exception of Pegasus Greek Restaurant which is great). Crime is still at staggering levels in the D.
Issues of the Big 2.8 aside, Detroit has suffered neglect for decades. The race riots of the 60’s decimated the city, and subsequent business and industry exodus to the suburbs defined the very meaning of “suburban sprawl”, which is why today it irritatingly takes at least an hour to get ANYWHERE in the Metro.
Doesn’t help now that instead of fixing street lights, the city is buying Navigators for the [ex] mayor’s wife, covering up scandal, and throwing lavish mayoral parties. There’s no money, time, or effort being spent on the city’s own “turnaround”. Hell it even languished when the Big 2.8 were rolling in it back at the turn of the century.
Forgive me if I do come across as bitter – as I still have a cinder block tied to my ankle; a house in SE Michigan who’s value has plummeted 40% from its original value thanks to the overbuilding of the suburbs. Every day a new layoff is announced, my chances of selling go further and further below zero… which would seem impossible – but it’s not.
What’s wrong with it? They’re driving a Dodge Grand Caravan. :p

I’m sorry to hear about your property situation. My folks just had to go through a similar thing in Northville. In hindsight, even with the 30% reduction they had to swallow, it was a blessing to get out of it back in August. I feel for ya.
I left ten years ago. Sure, we go back to visit several times per year, but its no wonder why my cousins have stopped asking me “when are you going to move back to Michigan”.
You’re absolutely right about the sprawl. Detroit has spent some money on ‘downtown’ downtown….but Detroit’s neighborhoods might be beyond repair. Income doesn’t exist in those neighborhoods anymore. And as the Big 3’s marketshare has fallen, so too has the hopes for those neighborhoods.
