I like it. I think it’ll look pretty good with the CL grill.
I’d only change the Aura-like headlights and the unnecessary bulge on the side right above the graphic. Use the current CL headlights and smooth out the side, and I think Mercedes just out-American’d the Americans.
Mercedes front end, Datsun back end, and Pontiac plastic clading to go between. The grille is obviously a cost-weight saving measure. It doubles as a tire jack handle.
SL550 meets 456GT with 1997-99 Corvette wheels…what’s not to like?
The Crossfire is back!
The grill and headlights look like a Chevy. Grafted on to a Panamera.
So a dog took a dump that looks vaguely like a car. How is this newsworthy?
And I open the door how?
I spy a wee bit of Mustang in there, with some Maserati at the C-pillar.
Good god, that girl Mercedes gets around…
Hans: We must make the SL look less ostentatious
Franz: Why?
Hans: Because when what you are driving has a Camry mouth, Fuzion eyes, and Pontiac side-cladding – they won’t want to kill you for being rich.
Franz: Why?
Hans: Even if they do figure out it is an SL, they will (rightly) assume you are already dead.
Franz: Aha
Its a Monte Carlo.

Chevy grill…Nissan 370Z roofline (or Honda Accord Coupe?)..SL front end and headlights….Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
MrDot, I thought the same exact thing. And it saddened me.

It looks more Pontiac Grand Am to me.
Ah, but it sports the only true SL cue it couldn’t exist without: the “car was on time but I’m still 10 minutes late” seating position.
So Goodwill is selling cars built from donated parts now – awesome!
Malibu grill.
A potentially good looking car ruined by Pontiac type cladding. Hey I thought they had a trademark on those creases, until the Sebring came along.
Carveman got it- Monte Carlo
I say RWD, 6.0L V8
Awesome
It looks like this car came out of Ridge Racer.
Photoshop is a dangerous thing.
It’s actually not bad looking overall. However, it won’t look like that after they actually have to build it.

Looks like somebody needs to work on their Photoshop skills a bit more.
What they’ve created is an impossible vehicle. It’s no more real than a three pronged blivet.
It’s the 2010 6000 SUX —
Now I’d buy THAT for a Dollar!
Mustamaro? Camarang?
What’s the fuss? It’s just an SL with a custom hardtop and some ‘tuning’ tweaks. Grill actually looks classier without the oversized star…
