But do I have to watch it?

    Robert Frankfurter

The usefulness e.g. reason for driving on an artificial flat track as fast and loud as possible with a most uneconomic means of transport useless in a circle (only to get to the point where one started) with a lot of material thrown at, dedication and human effort is, if one contemplates for a second, in the 21 century beyond any logic.

I a country where genetically public transport is still a big retro-no-go, technically cars are basically same as the T-Ford model (technically still not up to the Tucker Torpedo), streets (not only) in the cities crumbling like Maddof stocks its still unbelievable, and surely sociologists are scratching their heads, so many still can get a hard one engaging in such childish useless time and resource killer.

Of course, provided your not in the media, advertisement business selling cheap stuff to the watching mammals.

Probably the long looked for missing link is found right in the car as well as left & right besides the track…

If history is any guide to whats coming up & get the grips whats a sure future bet, look at and follow to where the good old Cosa Nostra is putting resources and dedication in:

Thy where and still are always at the real brink of technology – turning even wind into profit- elegantly outpacing since centuries the clumsy “outbailers”

I’d say this guy needs to invest in a decent camera mount (and a camera that shoots more than 4 fps would be nice, too).

Frankfurter, what are you talking about? FYI, this track is in Spain.

  • avatar

Robert Frankfurter, I have no idea what you’re talking about or how you strung all those words together, but it’s a thoroughly interesting mess and quite nice to read. Like Jabberwocky, perhaps.

Also, the video makes me want to barf, though I agree that it sounds nice.

Frankfurter, what the Hell are you talking about? FYI, this track is in Spain.

So is the highest unemployment rate in the European Union – officially over 12% realistically 25%. Panem et circenses.

No matter where a racetrack on the globe is – they are retro – at best.

    Mmmm…Ascari A10 – aural ecstasy.

Top Gear’s review of the A10, was quite good:

That does sound good… but does it go over 2,000 rpm?

PS: I think Robert Frankfurter is the guy who writes most of the world’s spam email. Throw in a few “Viagras” and “discount gold watches” and you’ll see what I mean.

    spam?

    http://edition.cnn.com/2009/BUSINESS/03/02/markets/index.html

In reality the USA is already second in (nobody buys the rotting metal) car production, a third world communistic country regarding economics (soon all US banks will be nationalized state banks like in the former UssR or North Korea), and compared to many lucky ones, fourth world regarding health care, education and general quality of life – and some still care for a pipe sound out of a rear?

    Stunning.

jumped – where flying high – only to find now out that the pool was empty…

Luckily there are for the folks hit hardest computer games, TV soap operas, Walkman and cars to drive meaningless (not for transport reason) around – to distract the lowest & lame from reality – Panem et Circenses

Seriously, Frankfurter, no one knows what you’re on about.

Anyway. Sonically, the A10 is probably my favorite car — it’s got such an epic, rumbly growl. It’s amazing what engines from BMW’s M division can do in the hands of some British engineers.

    @Jeff Puthuff

You’ve condemned me to at least one night of strange dreams involving sexy, purring noises and two rounds with Mike Tyson. Damn you!

    @Frankfurter

In all honesty, can you speak English or did you just drag random letters from a Scrabble bag?

Ooh, I get it! Frankfurter’s doing that whole “stream-of-consciousness” poetry thing!

I believe Frankfurter’s trying to act intelligent in a beatnik, stream of conciousness sort of way, not necessarily a polysyllabic sort of way, or an of beat reference sort of way that we sometimes see from the best and brightest or even the editor of The Truth About Cars, the finest car site on the net. Sic semper tyrannus.

(How’s that for a long meandering sentence, eh? And, did you notice the use of latin at the end. That shows I am intelligent, right? Semper Paratus.)

The guy needs to do something about the video quality. If he’s going to be posting VIDEOS, video quality is kinda’ important. To tell the truth about this car, the sound doesn’t do much for me either. It has neither the loud roar of an American V8 nor the scream of a Ferrari, at least not in the first 32 seconds (I couldn’t last any longer, the video was giving me nausea).

I believe Frankfurter’s trying to act intelligent in a beatnik,

    Believing is not knowing.
Try to leave wild guessing and my form of presentation aside and focus or question the very content of my posting.

Focus on the nut not on its shell.

That would give you not an even but at least a better level.

Love the music. Hate the video. Maybe Bobby Hotdogs is trying to do his literary version of the blond in the Cars as Concept video?
