This week we are looking for two answers. One, the make and year of the featured car (the seats are not original, don’t let that throw you). Two, what does this picture foretell about tomorrow’s Curbside Classic? Good luck!

’32 Ford coupe.
‘32 Ford coupe.
I second the motion…
Tomorrow: Porsche?
The dog’s a Boxer, so maybe some pugilism is involved?
My first thought was ’33 Ford. Since others have said coupe, I’ll go with that as the body style.
You’ll have a better looking driver?
Before we get a third motion on the Deuce Coupe…no. And Porsche?? No. I’ve got to run for a while; happy guessing.
I’ll guess Model T Ford, and this one’s a DOG!
I’m guessing it is the Toyota Corolla in the background…
’34 Ford Sedan
’32 Ford 5-window coupe sounds good, but are the window crank and door-opener hardware in the right places?
Tomorrow’s feature: the junior senator from California.
1931 Chevy five window coupe. It’s a real dog of a car, i.e. a Rat Rod?
Clarification: both guesses relate to the same upcoming (tomorrow’s)CC.
I don’t know what the car is, but the photo is absolutely wonderful, except for the fact that the red car in the parking lot should have been cropped out. Do that, and it’s a total winner. Did you take it? Was this a stroke of luck where the dog was already in the car, or did you pose the dog? Give us the story!
@50merc
How inappropriately funny!
I think it’s a trick question, 2010 Chrysler Sebring.
deSoto?
David, Full story tomorrow. Totally unposed, it’s just how I found them.
BTW, one of you is getting warmer.
I see 3 clues:
1. It’s a coupe
2. Boxer engine
3. Shadow of Toyota in the background
Must be the Subaru SVX!
WAG: a Topolino?
I don’t know what the car is but tomorrow I think tomorrow you’re featuring a Mack truck.
I’d guess Ford Model A, 4-door.
I’ve never been so angry at a b-pillar before.
edit: gotta be a late 20’s model-t
edit again: 1927
Okay, it’s a four-door sedan – door and window edges aren’t far enough back for a two-door car. I’m guessing ’31 Plymouth.
The boxer has his “serious boxer” look down pat, but then they all do.
I probably saw 75 of them at last weekend’s Back to the 50s Car Show in St. Paul, MN….
…that being said, I have no idea.
fincar1 is feeling the warmth.
Mid-thirties Dodge Coupe
edit: going to go with 1935. As to the second question I have no idea.
Maybe it’s slow as a dog?
I am 99% sure that is a 35,36 Dodge though.
mistrernee,
You’re getting mighty hot on #1.
And you’ve nailed #2.
That boxer has the look of “If you come closer, I will bite your ass…”
Last wild guess…’29 Whippet.
hey, what are you doing driving around my first wife Paul…
Airflow.
1936 Plymouth Coupe – much like this one

Dave – good enough for me, although the body style is not the coupe.
