I have to agree that nobody would have noticed this even if it were real had it not happened right after his death. Any other time that would just be another Rochart blot test that could be two faces back to back joined at the ear (think mirror effect).
One word comes to mind. Pareidolia. Somebody pass me the Jesus Christ grilled cheese, would ya?

Uncanny though; it may not even be PS’d, just a cloud with the dark background and proper amount of distortion provided by the car hood.
