All right, all you expert sleuths of vintage chrome moldings and extruded textures. I will once again try to stump you and will undoubtedly fail. I apologize for the lack of resolution, but it’s a small crop. And you’re too good. A shout out to last week’s winner, 6c1500, who nailed the stick-shift Caddy early on.
’59 Chevy hood leading edge “nostril”. Looks like passenger side by direction of the taper.
1972 Torino?
Dodge Ram
Looks like one of the “eyebrows” of a ’59 Chevy to me. Before the IIHS gets a hold of it, that is.
I agree with MadHungarian.
I must say that “I don’t know, and I really don’t care”.
Plymouth Barracuda
Late 60’s Pontiac Catalina.
Side molding mid-1970s Chevy pick-up.
Ah heck, make it a 1973

Glad you weighed in with that.
I’m with Jimal. I’d say late ’60s Catalina. Looks like the leading edge of the hood where it meets the twin-nostril grille.
Or a late ’60s Cutlass? It also could be the central lip of the hood/grille.
I too side with MadHungarian. It’s hard to see, but there is a mesh inside the moldings.
1970 Plymouth Fury
I vote 59 Chevy as well.
I’m with obbop…I would have said 1972 chevy pup
I too think it’s a Chevy. Picture taken when it was brand new.
(it’s a joke!)

Good. “We aim to please”.
If the photo was one of some rare Euro exotic and did not show only one square inch of non-descript metals, I’d participate.
Pos me doy… ni idea.
69′ Rambler??
My guess is an early-mid 80’s Ford pickup or Bronco.
Thunderbird tail light?
1959 Chevrolet Biscayne
C’mon guys, this was from your own web site. How about a little challenge next time?
wait a sec! How did I get scooped? That first comment, labeled 8:40 PM on 9/21, didn’t actually appear until yesterday.
